How can I use Getaboo?
In order to use Getaboo, your mobile phone needs GPRS or UMTS access with the respective settings and should be based on Java software, which is the case in most of the new mobile phones. Together with that, an increasing number of Mobile Operators enable an automatic excess to GPRS connection and even offer “Mobile Internet Packages” where you pay a fix rate and get a fix amount of Megabytes per month. In most of the countries GPRS connection became a standard.
Does it work on my mobile phone?
If you have GPRS or UMTS access and your mobile phone is Java software based, then in any normal circumstances, Getaboo should work without problems.
P.S - You have to register to use the service. You can register on the website or even register after installing the application on your phone. You get 10 free SMS after you register but to send SMS after you use your 10 free SMS you will have to pay. However, other services like Instant Messenger and Email remains free.
